Thanks for your reply. I'm a real novice when it comes to wix and I'm
currently trying to disentangle the wix-based installer in phpmanager,
which has some very "interesting" properties like compiling the c#
code on-the-fly for reasons I don't know.

If InstallUtil is not a good choice, what are your recommendations
regarding c# based custom actions?
Feel free to just point me to an existing documentation, if it exists.
