[wix-users] File Source question

Is it possible to use a shared team drive as the location of the source
files?
I.E. Source="$(var.mySource)\lib_myCode.dll"
Works fine when the Defined preprocessor variables are pointed to the
local c: drive but throws an error when the var points to a mapped drive.
error LGHT0103: The system cannot find the file 'S:\.....

environment / tool is
Visual Studio 2019
Windows 10
