[wix-users] Reg Search & Launch Condition

I have a registry search which sets a property which is then used in a <Condition> element to block installation if the registry value isn't found.

A customer is reporting that installation is being blocked, despite the registry value being present.

Looking a the log file, I see that the registry search is successful and the property is set yet the launch conditions is failing. There is a line about "Ignoring disallowed property" which looks suspicious but why would it be "ignored" on this customers machine and not on others (or is the "disallowed property" a red herring)?
