Subject: [wix-users] How to encode a version number correctly into a DWORD64 for m_pEngine->SetVariableVersion()

I am writing up a BAFunction to take the IIS Version number parts and create a version number entry to avoid the string comparison problems ("7" > "10", etc.).

So, basically I need to convert my string bits from the registry, load them into a DWORD64, and create my new version variable. What is the expected encoding and what is the most reasonable way to accomplish it?
