[wix-devs] wix3 build errors

My org needs it done before wix4 will be stable.  Moving to unstable wix4
is too great a risk for us.

I was told by rseanhall that no more changes will be accepted into wix3
so I guess the work will live in my fork of wix3.  Others can move it to
wix4 if they like.
