[wix-devs] WiX 4.0 Progress Report

The thing I privately wonder is how seamless and valuable v4 will be for me as a user. When I first heard of v4 5 years ago some of the original concepts seemed so radical that I thought I’d be longing for a wix classic fork. A 3.12 if you will. 

Updating iswix to support v3 and v4 schema side by side was fairly painless. Everything seems to still work in that an msi does build. I won’t know for sure until we get to the end of the line though. 

I don’t always know my availability to work on iswix also and that is why I’ve been trying to get some of the testing and work done now.
