[wix-users] Deferred custom action - communication

The MSI architecture pushes a model where you make decisions first and then
execute them. If possible you should decide on the data in an immediate
custom action, populate properties accordingly, then pass that data to a
deferred custom action (or standard action if already available) to make
the changes.

It sounds like the data is generated in the act of making the changes and
you just want to report the generated data. How would you report the data
on a silent install? Perhaps that might suggest a communication mechanism.
