[wix-users] FW: AssemblyManifest default value?

A question: When installing a .net assembly, is the "AssemblyManifest" parameter required for the <File> element if the value of the assembly manifest is the same as the file identifier itself?  The default behavior when "AssemblyManifest" is absent is not stated in the documentation.

I know that you must specify the "AssemblyApplication" if you want to install a private assembly, but it is not clear that "AssemblyManifest" is even required when the manifest is embedded in the assembly itself.
