[wix-users] Advantages/disadvantages of embedding cab file in MSI

Pro:
* One file to distribute

Con:
* Embedded cabinet is cached with MSI which takes space on user's system drive

So, if your cab is small, then maybe you can consider embedding. If your cab is not small, you are taking space on the user's drive that is probably the most crowded and cannot be moved.


Best practice: do not embed the cabinet
