[wix-users] Empty WixVariable

Obviously, there is a bug since there is a discrepancy. Did you see if an issue is already open about it? If not, maybe open one and the right answer can be discussed.

Sorry for asking for the third time, but I really need an answer on this one.

According to documentation (http://wixtoolset.org/documentation/manual/v3/xsd/wix/wixvariable.html) WixVariable Value cannot be an empty string.

1. What if I need it to be an empty string/null?

2. Setting WixVariable to empty string does not result in an error (WiX Toolset v3.11.0.1701). Does it mean the documentation is incorrect and I can rely on this behavior? Or is it a bug that will be fixed in the future versions?
