Turns out I asked about this same issue back in 2014 -- try OptionalUpdateRegistration ?  We have something like the following :



<OptionalUpdateRegistration Classification="Hotfix" Name="Hotfix 2"/>



BTW Perhaps I'm misreading, but your message text says "1BB6FDE2-E216-4450-C7EB-8DD633CBB57F" as the GUID, while the source code you attached has "BBB6FDE2-E216-4450-A7EB-8DD633CBB57F".  Probably just one of those things that happens when posting code to a list ...
