[wix-users] eventlog installer

Greetings,

I use Visual Studio 2015.   I have been using the deployment project to
install my custom application.

 

The problem I have been experiencing is that I do not understand how to make
my deployment project

create the eventlog sources my application needs.

 

I do not want the application to require administrative rights in order to
run.  Even just one time.

 

I saw on another website about the wix tools.

 

Before I download and invest a bunch of time into this toolset, can anyone
point me to an example

of how to accomplish the eventlog source creating using the wix tools ?
