[wix-users] How do I know if a quiet burn install succeeded?

One of us isn't clear on what the other means 😊

Where can I check the errorlevel?  The only visible command window I've got is the one that came straight back to the prompt but left the installer running.  Maybe I'm making the erroneous assumption that that also means a system management tool won't see the process that actually performs the install.

I'd normally check the errorlevel returned by the silent installer if errorlevel=0 then success else, not so much...

If I have a burn package using the standard BA and run it in a command window, it comes back to the prompt immediately.  So if I run it with /quiet I don't know if it succeeded without checking the log.  More to the point, if the package is being pushed out to PCs with some system management software, how will it know if it succeeded?  I imagine this is a common requirement so I hope someone will tell me I'm missing the obvious...
