I see this issue also.  They flag any unsigned binary as potential malware and quarantine it, independent of building a burn exe.  Curiously they are also in the business of selling code signing certificates.

This is a good point - Symantec Endpoint Protection apparently believes burn is some kind of virus, so while doing builds we need to set up an scanning exception on the build folder.  Our bundles are typically signed, but for quick tests I don't sign them, and invariably these get quarantined by SEP if I forget to set up an exception.
