[wix-users] Bootstrapper UI

Typically one would hide the UI of the 3rd party applications to provide a more seamless user experience. Depending on what you are installing will determine how much progress information your BA can display. (MSI's give verbose feedback, exe's are a crap shoot but if they are also burn bundles you can get information from them.)

Subject: [wix-users] Bootstrapper UI

Hello all,

I made a theme for the bootstrapper but have two problems:

There are 2 scrollbars(horizontal and vertical) and i do not know how to disable these. So how do i disable these?

The bootstrapper installs a lot of third party applications(20+) in passive mode. The UI's of the installers however cover the bootstrapper UI and I don't actually want that. I would like to position the bootstrapper in the lower right corner. This way the progress of each installer can be seen aswell as the overall progress.

Does anyone know how to do this?

Kind regards,

Stijn de Winter
