[wix-users] Group policy install with Burn?

Office's setup.exe and Burn were designed at the same time. We shared lots of information back and forth. WiX Toolset is manned by volunteers and Office needed a solution sooner, so they wrote their own. End result is mostly the same... certainly from a GPO point of view.

Interesting Office post, thanks for that. I know Office doesn't use Burn, but I'm assuming they've in effect written their own, so their approach is a possible route, particularly if we want to do stuff outside of MSI's. 

That said, it's a lot of work for a small company.
