[wix-users] Support for multiple installed copies of Visual Studio

I run with WiX v3.10 in VS2010 - VS2015 on my dev machine all the time. I haven't used WiX v3.8 in a very, very long time.

I also haven't heard a significant number of people complaining about it, so at this point it sounds localized to your configuration.

You can check the installation log files to ensure the devenv /setup commands were all run. The ActivityLog.xml should also have mention of loading the Votive package (maybe by GUID)?

Always possible some other VS extension you have installed is disrupting Votive.

Any other ideas or ways to log more information when Vix Toolset is installing? Can you verify if there are other users with multiple versions of VS running (including VS2015) using Vix Toolset 3.8. I know 3.8 does not support VS2015, but I would still expect it to install/work with the compatible dev environments (VS2012, VS2013). 

I'm running out of ideas/time.
