[wix-users] MSBuild targeting an .xproj

.xproj are currently missing a lot of MSBuild infrastructure. That is (one reason) why .NET team is rewriting the build system for .NET Core.

Hi,

I was trying to set up an installer to install an Asp.net 5 Project that has a file extension of .xproj instead of .xsproj. I get the error below whenever I try to create the installer.

  C:\...\Myproject.xproj : error MSB4057: The target "_CopyWebApplication"
does not exist in the project.

There doesn't seem to be much information about solving this issue online, or at the very least none that I understand, Is there some kind of solution that I'm missing or does WiX currently not support .xproj extensions?
