[wix-users] How to Hide console of command prompt

Found the updated chm entry.  Good to know it exists.  I don't think I'd ever use this.   I really don't like data getting swallowed.  I'd probably write my own wrapper that transforms / sanitizes the output while maintaining as much detail as to the results as possible.

What is WixSilentExec?  I did a google search and the only hit was a pull request to document it.   For those times when you must shell out, I like QuietExec.  What problem does SilentExec solve and at what cost?

Use the WixQuietExec or WixSilentExec custom actions.

Hello Wix Users....

I have written one custom action on Uninstall. On uninstalling installer i have written custom action in which i am opening command prompt in silent mode and executing my command to delete folder.

The problem i am facing is one command execute on uninstall command prompt console display for 1 or 2 second , then execution of command complete.

I want to hide console which are visible for some time on Uninstall.

Please help me guys its very urgent , i am not getting any help from internet.
