Thanks for the pointer, I have found the ParseFileElement function and the like and the call  to ParseExtensionElement towards the end of the function.

Progress can continue. :)

I struggled with the same issue, and ended up searching the source code, particularly src\tools\wix\Compiler.cs

Hi, I'm writing a compiler extension at the moment for WiX and was wondering if there is any documentation on what the context values that get passed to ParseElement are for different parents?


My googling has failed to find any good info on this, and I've resorted to printf-ing the values on a test run to work out what's there, next step is the source unless anyone can help me out.
