[wix-users] WiX and APPX

There were experiments but there was zero interest in AppX so everything put on hold. We plan to revisit the experiments post-v4.0. Actually, most of the cool things in v4.0 are ideas that came from those experiments.

At FireGiant, we have taken a different tact for Nano Server and created an extension to create AppX with your MSI: https://www.firegiant.com/wix/appx/.

I was wondering if at some point WiX will support .APPX. There was a blog post mentioning that it should have been included in v 4.x is that still the case? Is there a simple example to construct / try?
