[wix-users] Fwd: Install WiX Bootstrapper Prerequisite Before Displaying UI

So many vague responses. First a mention of "mba (the managed bootstrapper
application host and friends)" with no links. A Google search for those
terms yields numerous results. Then a vague mention of a book that has a
"section on a managed BA" with no title. If you mean *WiX 3.6: A Developers
Guide to Windows Installer XML* I have read the book, including the section
on the custom bootstrapper which I assume is what people are calling a
Managed BA and it does not address the issue of prerequisites.

I am getting the vague idea that what I want can be done but I have not
seen one response with enough detail for me to verify this.

Can someone give me just a little more information please. The "mba (the
managed bootstrapper application host and friends)" answer by Rob Mensching
seems promising but without a link the answer is of limited use to me.
