I just want to clarify on what you have mentioned ( forgive my ignorance )

1. Are you saying that WiX directly cannot trigger .appx (which works on say Windows store for example) thus giving ability to transition same source code to .appx?
2. Does the extension you mentioned create .appx packages that can work in Windows store e.g. in Windows 10 ? If so, how is this extension different than having WiX directly do the work (I am unclear of the advantages of WiX generating .appx directly vs extension you mentioned) i feel i am missing something 3. Is the extension open source or need to work with FireGiant to get access
