[wix-devs] Running wix3 BurnUnitTest in VS2017

In general, VS2017 is not supported for building the WiX toolset source code yet. There is work to enable it in WiX v4 but I don't expect we'll ever bother to do so in WiX v3.

I have just now installed C++/CLI. Nothing has changed, same error message.
