Need more specifics about the exact errors you are having. 

The official build machine is Win10 so I doubt the OS is the issue.

I am trying to get the wix3 solution setup under windows 10 with vs community 15.4.3. I am guessing based on the older SDK dependency that this may not be supported.

Ultimately, I am trying to infer whether something exists to leverage the embedded schema that exists in extensions. I see the table and column definitions is embedded and I'd rather not reinvent the wheel writing something to translate this into SQL that I can execute against a temp database for test fixtures if it exists.

I'd be grateful for any pointers,
